Hi, I’m Gene Molloy and I am one happy REALTOR®. That’s because a few years ago I made the switch to Charles Rutenberg Realty. In my last year as an agent with an old school, dinosaur of a national franchise, I was spinning my wheels. I was depressed and losing my passion for the real estate business. I was in direct competition for clients with my broker who was still selling. I was paying a percentage split to the company AFTER a six percent franchise fee was taken off the top of the commission. I came to the realization that other people were making a substantial amount of money off of my work product. At Charles Rutenberg Realty I basically get to keep what I earn. After a small monthly fee ($35), a minimal transaction fee ($275), and a per deal risk management fee ($50), the rest of the commission check is mine. I am no longer in competition with my broker. In fact, since each agent at Rutenberg runs their own business as they see fit, we are not even in competition with each other either! There is no leader board hung up at CRR. Ray is always there for us if we need him too. I still receive recruitment calls from other “brand name” companies who offer me all kinds of incentives to switch over to them, but my answer is always no. I am an independent lone wolf sort of guy, and for me there is no other company but Charles Rutenberg Realty. |

My name is Donna Arrigo and, after being in business for fifteen years, I know how important it is to keep overhead low to increase the profits in a real estate business. Real estate expenses should be about the marketing costs such as prospect and lead development, establishing relationships, and expressing appreciation to clients, not about high monthly overhead costs for desk fees, company advertising, franchise fees and even onerous commission splits. I am glad that I did since, on a recently closed sale that provided me with a commission check of over twenty thousand dollars, Charles Rutenberg Realty's fee was only $325.00! That’s it! There were no hidden fees, or last minute surprises. After the modest $325.00 fee, my take home commission check was still over twenty thousand dollars! I feel that there are no "down times" in Real Estate. People need shelter and, as an agent, if you work your business, it will work for you! The Midwest is a great location to be in and that's why Charles Rutenberg Realty is located here. With this strong company and the great structure they have in place, there is no reason to suffer financially even if the market is a little slow.
